Superb Super Supra

Same shit indeed, just different colour...

Can''t understand why Toyota can't make the
clear stock-look side markers available as
standard parts, and still shipping out 2005 Celica
with orange side markers.

Celica's side markers is so well secured that if you out run a Lambo at 360 km/h, the side markers will never fall off......it has 2 bloody screws at the rear with no. 8 nuts securing it!

Pain in the ass to me with such design....The standard documentation will tell you to be dumb and remove the bumper whenever you want to change the side marker, horn or fog lamp bulb.....which prompted many people to try alternative ways. Side maker and fog lamp can be replace by partially removing the wheel arch cover. Just make sure you have flexible hands and don't break anything along the way. Oh yes, make sure you don't end up having extra left over screws after the job.

Here are the 2 dame screws and no. 8 NUTS!

Below are pictures of the different types of clear side markers I've come across.  Most of them are not easy to source.

msssignal-diamond.jpg

This has a diamond look; widely available.

msssignal-hk.jpg

This has a jewel look. Goes well in matching the headlamp where the signal portion of the headlmap cover  has a jewel look as well.

This remindes me of my old bicycle...
