My first idea for this came from the Toyota Camry
(Made in Thailand, luxury version). The car stopped beside me at the traffic junction and the front female passenger was saying
“Mirror Mirror on the wall”….
So my hunt
goes for the current version of Camry’s lighted visor vanity mirror. As expected, a brand new one from Borneo Motors
will cost more than S$250. Kinda stupid to spend S$500+ on a pair or lighted mirror.
On day, I
found a scrap yard in Sg. Kadut having a less-than-1-year-old Thai Camry waiting to be scrap after an accident. Spoke to the scrapy boss and he said that Camry cannot be touched; i.e. he’s going to selling the
car as a whole, locally or exported.
My search goes on for other scrapped
BMW, Volvo, Audi, etc….but none of them has a lighted vanity mirror that is large and lighted at both ends of the mirror.
